The one in the mirror (Article for Positive Life magazine, Summer 2023 issue)

I would like to start by clarifying the terminology first.

Cambridge Dictionary definitions of “relationship”:

- the way in which two or more people or things are connected, or the state of connection /  - the way things are connected or work together.

Living is the constant expression of some 85 to 110 billion cells working together, cooperating with each other due to their innate interrelationship.

If you want to study life, you have to do it taking into account the "connection and synergy" factor between tissues. You can't learn much about life by studying a corpse, really. The whole person is made up of its components and the synergy between them.

To do this, nature has endowed our body with an innate master controller: the central nervous system -brain and spinal cord- which, together with the endocrine system, configure the communication network between all parts of the body.

Spinology is concerned with interferences due to vertebral misalignments, what we call “spinal occlusions”. If the body works in a coordinated and harmonious way, our potential to relate to others can also be better manifested. In other words, if we stay well, we can better express our abilities as human beings, among which is the gift of relating to others.

I am sure that if you are reading this magazine you would like a better world. Individually speaking, we can't do much, but together...

Spinologists are convinced that relationships between people can greatly help change. Start with the man/woman in your mirror.

SPINOLOGY, WE WANT TO BREAK FREE  (Article in Positive Life magazine, Spring issue 2023)

At first sight, "spinology", seems to be just a spinal adjustment technique. What is not that known is that spinology is a philosophy of life as well. Spinology is committed to the correction of spinal occlusions so that the body is freed and the chemical balance restored for the full expression of physical, mental and emotional balance. But just as important is the facet of sharing a philosophy that allows people to think for themselves.

The following is an excerpt from Spinology, the book:

“Spinology is setting a very demanding standard for each of our lives. We are asking that each of us refuse to become victims of the programming of the past, or programming of the present or future. We ask that each individual allow himself or herself to keep the mind free in order to find the truth. Our purpose is to see truth and then to act on it. When we have each done that, we are going to find ourselves in a position of giving up a certain kind of freedom. People hold onto their old ideas because they are like a comfortable old pair of slippers. They are warm and fuzzy. Everyone wants the security of believing in something which is established and unchanging. But once we have discovered truth through philosophical inquiry, we are not free to slip back into muddled thinking or the ease of untested beliefs.

Just in case someone doesn't remember: “freedom is a state of mind; it is a philosophical concept reflecting an inalienable human right to realize one's human will”.

The need for professionals like us, spinologists

It has been evident for quite some time that the world is not doing well. It is also obvious that there are too many vested interests €€ that prevent us from doing what is most logical for the benefit of everyone. What we now have on top of that is the perpetuation of fear, which hinders people from thinking, reasoning, or using their own logic to understand things. Fear limits, making it easier for those who exercise control.

If we already live in an era of immediacy, non-stop activity, urgency, and stress as the norm, the last thing we need is an added factor of constant fear about what may come.

You may wonder, "What does all this have to do with spinology? Doesn't a spinologist simply work on the human spine and that's it?" Well, it has a lot to do with it. By the way, a spinologist helps the body align its spine, period.

The philosophy of the profession is based on the understanding and respect for natural laws; on the concept of the wisdom of nature (referred to as the "innate wisdom of the body" in us).

The application of the Spinology technique is one of the means, but not the end. If your spine consistently avoids vertebral misalignments, your body and mind function better—this is a fact, and it is logical. Human physiology has already accounted for it; it is not something new. It is not a method that someone discovers and develops into a profession. Simply put, the inherent potential for optimal (not mediocre) life maintenance and all its manifestations has always existed in living beings.

When I see or hear politicians or "important people," I always wonder how they would be if they had their spines checked. It is clear that having your spine adjusted is not everything for the proper functioning of the body, but it is among the most important factors. In a deck of cards, there are triumphs and secondary cards. Among those triumphs or aces is Spinology, which allows for a better physiology and a better life.

How can spinologists contribute to improving society? We are aware that we can't do much about the major pressing issues of today, such as famine, climate change and its consequences, or wars. However, what we can do, and what we do, is provide a better perspective on vitality and respect for the intrinsic nature of the individuals we "touch". The most evident and satisfying example for us is working with families. When families improve their well-being, they see things from a much more optimistic perspective.

I have been practicing spinology for 42 and a half years. I train spinologists, I have written a book on spinology, and I have conducted countless interviews, conferences, and actively engage on social media. I have to say that my message hasn't changed one bit since I started in 1981.        My mission is to help people live better, think and use their own logic, and reclaim their identity within the natural framework we live in.

If you ask me if I like the current state of the world, you already know my answer. But I am deeply convinced that, as a spinologist, I am contributing in my own way to restoring balance. Natural laws are characterized by their suitability and are governed by an order that has nothing to do with the Internet, the WHO, the Kremlin, Beijing, or Washington. It is the natural order that has existed since the first signs of life on this planet.

I now turn to the cover of my book, which depicts the ripple effect of a raindrop on the surface of a lake. And here, I'll leave it, because I would like you, the reader, to reflect upon it.
